
Fran Diéguez is a software engineer focused on the agile and pragmatic programmation that combines his continuous studies with free software development in the “Free Software Office, University of Santiago de Compostela” to assist in such massive implementation and for the other hand he works on web development with Ruby on Rails framework, and dabble in PHP and J2EE.
He loves minimalism, Japanese culture and as such their lifestyles and thinking (maybe that’s why he loves both the Ruby language). He enjoys reading about comprehensive and continuous innovation as a way of progression.
Accross a few years he has helped to spread free/libre software world in Spain, giving talks, teaching their advantages and actively collaborating in the development of various applications and especially its translation into Galician of GNOME. Today belongs to the Galician Linux Users Group.
